Tangling is a sophisticated doodling system that helps you create gemlike, miniature works of art while reaping the benefits of taking time for a meditative interlude in your day. The creators of this artform call them Zentangles. You will go home with a finished book which contains your first Zentangle and lots of inspiration and suggestions for creating many more.

Paper Finishes and Folded Books
There are a myriad of ways to decorate paper and in this class we will explore techniques that will allow you to explore at least eight of these techniques. Using a variety of pigments, mediums and tools we will splash, dab and spray our way through the classes and create papers that will have your friends begging you to show them how! Each week you will also learn a folded book form that features decorated papers and you will complete a sample book of decorating techniques complete with instructions for each technique. Please wear clothes that are suitable for artistic play and bring an apron - we’ll provide everything else. This is a great class for novices but even advanced papercrafters will benefit from re-experiencing techniques in a new way and in seeing exciting bookforms that showcase the papers.
